Finland needs more blood donors. The majority of people could try donating, but currently, only 3.5% donate blood. Blood donors provide vital help to patients. Blood products are needed by, among others, accident victims, cancer patients, and mothers giving birth. Donating blood is a free way to help.
Now, donating is easier than ever, as the Blood Service will be coming to the Salo IoT Campus on Wednesday, September 11th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You can book a time for blood donation in advance online at https://ajanvaraus.veripalvelu.fi/vp. Type 'Salo campus' into the search field and click on the location marked in green to open the booking system.
