Club activities

During Nokia's era, a strong culture of club activities emerged on campus and remains vibrant today.

Harrastekerhot Salo ry aims to promote and enhance its members' opportunities for hobbies and recreational activities. The club facilities are located on campus, and all permanent employees at Salo IoT Campus can join as members.

Harrastekerhot Salo ry organizes various events and meetings for its members. Additionally, the club offers a diverse selection of hobby equipment and supplies that members can borrow free of charge.

The membership fee for the year 2024 is €15 per year.

Smartsalo association's purpose is to advocate for and promote its members' common interests in the workplace and society, encourage entrepreneurship, support members' employment, and enhance their mental and physical well-being. Under Smartsalo ry, there is the Hacklab hobby club, which provides a versatile electronics measurement laboratory available to companies operating on the campus. The facilities are located on the 3rd floor of Kuutio.
