Visitor parking

Visitor parking

Near the main entrance of Joensuunkatu, you will find the official visitor parking area of the campus. The area is marked with "Visitor Parking" signs. Please note that this parking area is designated solely for visitors. Other parking areas are also available for visitors free of charge, except for specifically reserved spots.

On all campus parking areas, you can park for free for up to 3 hours with a parking disc. If your visit exceeds three hours, please inform the reception desk with your vehicle registration number. Parking is free of charge for visitors.

On campus, there is ample parking space available in the parking garage and outdoor parking areas. Parking on campus is chargeable, and companies can purchase parking permits for their employees. If you are an individual interested in buying a parking permit for the campus, please contact the reception desk. As a permit holder, you are allowed to park in all campus parking areas, except for the visitor parking area on Joensuunkatu. Parking on campus is monitored and enforced.

Electric vehicle charging points

On the 3rd floor of the parking hall, there are a total of 70 charging points available, consisting of two types of chargers. There are 40 chargers with a maximum power output of 22 kW, and 30 chargers with a maximum power output of 3.6 kW. The charging price for the 22 kW chargers is 22 cents per kWh, and for the 3.6 kW chargers it is 20 cents per kWh. Charging at these points is managed through the eParking application, which is available for Android and iOS phones, as well as through a web browser at www.eparking.fi.

Additionally, at the P4 parking area, there are eChargie devices available, limited to 6 amperes. eChargie devices are best suited for charging hybrid cars, and the charging price with eChargie is 14 cents per kWh.

All charging points are freely accessible for visitors as well.

Bicycle parking

The campus has a spacious bike parking area located right next to the visitor parking, featuring a canopy that protects bikes from rain throughout the workday. Additionally, there are plenty of covered bike parking spots in the Kiila courtyard.
